About the RLT Academy Consortium
The RLT Academy Consortium is composed of 14 organisations from 9 different European Countries, which is led by KU (Katholieke Universiteit) Leuven. The RLT Academy aims to contribute to greater adoption of RLTs (Radioligand Therapies) across Europe by launching a specialised training programme on Radioligand Therapies for Healthcare Professionals in Europe.
Objectives
The objectives and deliverables are the following:
- Map the knowledge gap in RLTs to understand the knowledge gap better.
- Bridge the knowledge with the one that currently exists among healthcare professionals.
- Promote the integration of RLTs into mainstream cancer care.
Outcomes
- A STATE-OF-THE-ART RESEARCH: Current training landscape on radioligand therapies, identifying the crucial gaps and assess target groups’ needs in terms of training.
- DEVELOPMENT OF TRAINING CURRICULA: Blended format (online and physical), tailored to specific target groups.
- VIRTUAL RLT ACADEMY: Interactive online courses, subscription to physical trainings and a dedicated knowledge repository (RLT Library), project information.
- FELLOWSHIPS: Taking place at specific institutions of the consortium (KU Leuven, Essen, Tubingen and Meldola). A fellowship will vary in length and content depending on who it is offered to.
- POLICY RECOMMENDATIONS ON RADIOLIGAND THERAPIES: Inform policymakers on actions needed to ensure patient access in Europe to Radioligand Therapies.
