The exposure of a candidate to the different modalities included in the successful operation of a high-volume theranostics centre will be the key focus. Special attention will be given to not only rotate the candidate through nuclear medicine in- and out of patient facilities, but also PET- and SPECT reading, treatment planning, dosimetric calculation and evaluation, medical physics, radiation safety, radiopharmacy and participation of multidisciplinary tumor boards.

Training Length: 1 week

Trainees will learn about the main areas of research at the centre and will undergo training in innovative techniques and tools.

Participants will also be able to take part in Outpatient Clinic activities and directly observe therapeutic procedures, thus providing them with a 360° overview of the centre’s activities.

These clinical trainings are essential to properly educate stakeholders on the various complex aspects around the use and delivery of RLTs to patients.
